Our Multi-phase Approach

Using our multi-phase process for cohorts, teams and communities, we develop ways of moving through conflict using a timeline that works for you.

Phase I

Restorative Inquiry & Assessment.

Phase II

Bringing people together in affinity groups (e.g., exec teams, directors, staff teams, or by chosen identities) to dive deeper into the issues and needs (as needed).

Phase III

Mini-workshops for affinity groups to develop the language and practices of communicating through conflict, acknowledging harm, taking accountability (as needed).

Phase IV

When all are ready, we facilitate space for everyone to come together to discuss what happened, how people are impacted and what is needed for resolution and repair.

Phase V

Follow up on resolution/repair plans with the group.

Phase VI

Restart with Community Building Circle to develop shared values and community agreements.

Phase VII

Develop structures in your spaces for de-escalation, conflict transformation, and restorative responses for conflict and harm.
